GOOD FRIDAY BOWLS DAY

A GOOD FRIDAY BOWLS DAY was held at the Club to raise money for the ROYAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL APPEAL.  This has been an annual fund raiser by the Club for many years.  This year, being the most successful, raising $2,858.00.  This amount is included in the overall Nathalia total.  There were 68 players including a contingent from the Nathalia Tennis Club Tournament.  A Silent Auction, raffle and trading table was held. Afternoon tea was supplied by members and players.  A big thank you to all the donations from local businesses and the Members, who work hard to make this day a success.

The FINAL BAREFOOT BOWLS NIGHT was held on 15th March, with 34 bowlers playing.  It has been a great season and will be on again later in the year.  Thanks once again to Alan Cooper for organizing the nights and thanks to Steve Campbell for running the bar and all his many bartenders.

The Club is holding a Fashion Parade on Tuesday 9th April and a Trivia Night on Saturday 20th April.  All welcome.  Come along and have some fun and the Annual General Meeting is at the Club on 30th April at 7pm.
