On Saturday morning, 2nd July, you may have seen women in Nathalia town ‘making a Scene’. Eight members of the U3A photography group were capturing photographs for the next exhibition to be displayed at The GRAIN Store Gallery entitled, ‘MAKING A SCENE’.

Nathalia Planned Activity Group (PAG), joined Numurkah PAG last Friday where they were entertained by the Numurkah Ukulele Club. It was their first social outing since the start of Covid.  It was a wonderful day out with a sing-a-long and socializing over a lovely barbeque lunch, finishing off with a bingo game. The Pride of the Murray, a 98 year old paddle steamer, passed through Nathalia on Tuesday the 7th of June, on it’s 2300 kilometre trip from Echuca/Moama to Longreach, Queensland. State and national representatives from major Catholic organisations gathered in Nathalia on Monday 23 May, for the launch of the Sandhurst Laudati Si’ Action Plan and the commissioning of Catholic schools and parishes to Catholic Earthcare.  The Sandhurst launch has attracted key leaders within Caritas and Catholic Earthcare from Victoria and interstate. Congratulations to all the staff and students from St Mary of the Angels Secondary College who were involved in another fantastic production. This year’s production of ‘Grease’ was full of high energy and colour with great singing and choreography over four performances.  The Red Gum Courier appreciated the invitation to see the show and were once again very impressed with the professionalism of the production.
